 Pealout

Pealout still

Unfortunately, due to the red marquee acts running about 30 minutes late, the weather slowing down progress across the site, and a need to be elsewhere, I was only able to catch a small part of Pealout's performance. This was a shame because the little I saw, I liked. They seem to be a very lively three piece, but the ability to change the line-up from bass, keyboards and drums, to guitar, bass and drums, adds a bit of versatility. Personally I found the songs to be more up my street when the keyboards were swapped for a bass and the bassist picked up a guitar, another beautiful looking Gibson explorer by the way. Does everyone want to look like the edge these days?

Also, as the red marquee is the only stage at Fuji Rock with a roof, and it was totally bucketing down, it was, as you can probably imagine, jammed packed, so I was way too far back to really appreciate it. All the fun and energy seemed to be coming from the first 30 feet or so of packed fans.

Anyway, good luck PEALOUT!!
